Information about Ballot Questions
We have two constitutional amendments and a statewide referendum on the ballot this November. Below is a document that provides brief summaries of the three questions on the statewide ballot as you consider how you plan to vote.

​Barrow, Jackson, and Oconee counties also have local referendums focused on property tax relief (Barrow, Jackson) and school board policy (Oconee).

Absentee Voting
When an election is held, any eligible registered voter may apply for an Absentee Ballot via the online portal. Applications can only be accepted up to 11 days before the election.  You may submit an absentee ballot application through the secure absentee ballot portal at:  Secure My Absentee Ballot Portal

Voters can also download the Absentee Ballot Application - complete all applicable fields, print, and sign. You MUST provide a pen and ink signature in Section Eight (8).
Voters may apply for a ballot for a relative who is disabled or out of town, but that ballot will be mailed directly to the voter. The person providing assistance should provide a signature in Section Ten (10) and Section Eleven (11).

Send in the completed application via the Secure My Absentee Ballot Portal or by mail to your county's election's office
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5
Polls will be open 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
